Melbourne
Photos from a quick weekend trip to Melbourne:
It was a bit of a foodie weekend, with lots of food babies being carried around by the end of it. Breakfast never tasted better than on a tramway stop at Mart 130 and I’m still salivating over Movida’s rabbit legs and sweet baby carrots…

After a few months away from shooting (university exams – for the last time ever!!!) I got to get back into the pit and snap Fat Freddy’s Drop at the Forum Theatre this weekend.
Angus Stone also happened to be hanging around and enjoying the gig with his mate (also named Angus!). They were both super friendly and mentioned that Angus & Julia Stone should be back on tour January next year. Having shot and really enjoyed their concerts in the past few years, I’m looking forward to hearing more new music from him and his sister.
More pictures from the gig here.

I was lucky enough to shoot Phoenix, one of the most brilliant bands ever (best thing since sliced bread and all that). It was a killer show and one of the tightest sets I’ve been to.
I’ve been having fun seeing a lot of new live music lately, but I was really excited to finally be shooting a band that I’m absolutely nuts for.
I thought they were pretty great at the inaugural V Festival a few years back but seeing them at the Enmore playing to a packed house just blew me away.
Check out some of their music for yourself here and a lovely review of the gig here.
