This is where I am for the next few weeks for a bit of work experience in the country.
If you haven’t heard of the town, here’s a quick rundown:
It’s quite a pretty little town but I’m far far away from Sydney and already missing everyone!
It’s March and it’s the summer we never had! It’s quite funny though that as I write this rain is pouring down and thunder is going off every few minutes or so.
Another thing about Terrigal that I forgot to say was brilliant was that I tried Cold Rock ice cream for the first time. It’s pretty fantastic, and I think I may have discovered the best flavour after only two tries of making my own concoction:
Honeycomb ice cream + strawberries + macademia nuts = a party in your mouth
Feel free to challenge me on this one, it’ll be a good excuse to hit up Cold Rock for some more ice cream goodness.

Long weekends are awesome because not only do they lengthen the weekend, they shorten the working week (or in my case, uni week).

A few friends and I decided to head to the coast in hopes of good weather and lots of sunbaking. Unfortunately there was lots of rain and miserable weather so we had to spend the first few days indoors playing a lot of Scrabble and Nintendo Wii (best console ever - although Mario Paint on SNES does hold a special place in my heart).

Luckily the sun decided to grace us with its presence and we had a few good days of beach jaunts and sunbaking.

It was a great long weekend - 100% lounging and relaxation.
