Iluka
16Apr08

This weekend was beaches galore. After checking out Angourie we also headed to Bundjalung National Park where we visited Iluka and I think an offshoot near Woody Head (funny name).

Besides the seclusion, the main difference I noticed with the beaches here is that the waves are really calm. At Woody Head (I’m chuckling again) it felt like we were swimming in a huge freshwater lake as opposed to the great Pacific Ocean. I guess we haven’t found those famous surfing beaches just yet.
